Getting your deal over the line: the importance of negotiation skills

Description

In professional practice, lawyers rely on several professional skills above and beyond their legal knowledge. Oftentimes, whilst knowledge and ability will advance your case, matter or transaction, it is the core professional skills of lawyering that will ensure your case makes it across the line. Among these is the professional skill of negotiation which, depending on the size and complexity of a particular case, matter or transaction, can be invaluable for any lawyer in their day-to-day practice.

For this session, our panellists will be providing useful insights into how to hone and improve negotiation skills as part of any lawyers’ professional toolkit in tackling all manner of transactions.
