Biography

I am a partner, of Corporate / M&A Practice Group of Shearn Delamore & Co, Malaysia. My practice focus on take-overs, mergers and acquisitions, foreign investments, corporate restructurings. He also advises clients on equity capital markets work. His work straddles industries and includes education, oil and gas, manufacturing, retail and telecommunications. He has extensive experience in both domestic and cross border transactions, with strengths in drafting and advisory work. He is involved in deal structuring and negotiations during key stages of the transactions to align the client’s overall business objective with the applicable legal requirements to achieve a win-win outcome by taking into account different perspectives and balancing between the legal aspects and the clients’ commercial objectives. Nicholas has been recognised as a leading lawyer for Corporate/M&A (Malaysia) by several globally renowned legal publications including a band 3 leading lawyer in M&A by Chambers and Partners Asia Pacific (2024).
