Recent developments and future perspective of the SICC:

Through the experience of a diverse panel consisting of judges, practitioners, academics and in house counsel, discover the distinctiveness of the SICC and what it offers to international litigants.

It is essential for commercial dispute resolution lawyers, in the increasingly complex and interconnected world, to be able to navigate the cross-border, transnational litigation landscape. This panel will consider current hot topics in transnational disputes including judicial reform in Mexico; the treatment of online material depicting violence in Australia; conflict of laws in a copyright infringement case relating to a Hollywood blockbuster; judicial comity in Canadian courts; litigation involving tech giants in India as well as important case law from the SICC.
