Description
University spinoffs play a pivotal role in today’s innovation landscape and ultimately for an economy’s sustainable development. In this session, we will explore how top universities, through their technology and transfer offices (TTOs), are effectively spinning off technology ventures. We will also delve into how founders strategically plan and execute such exit transactions. During the session, we will highlight the inherent tensions between the interests of universities, founders, venture investors, and acquirers and examine strategies for balancing these diverse priorities successfully.
