The growth in credit funds has continued to accelerate, with record amounts being raised by managers. This session will consider trends in fundraising and some of the unique issues affecting managers raising and investing in credit funds.  This panel will also address the intersection of credit and real estate funds.

This panel will involve an informal discussion on issues that fund managers are facing in the current marketplace. The panellists will discuss their views on the state of the industry, regulatory challenges and evolving strategies and business lines.

This panel will address the newly adopted US Private Fund Adviser Rules.  Participants will discuss how GPs are preparing for the compliance dates, the anticipated impact on the industry and favoured approaches to the interpretive questions posed by the rules.  This panel will also address international approaches to compliance with the new rules.

The session will address GP stake sales, business combinations and similar manager and parent company level transactions.
