Matthew Baird

Biography

Matthew is an environmental lawyer, based in South-east Asia, and the Executive Director of the Centre for ESG Law and Practice of the College of Law (Australia). His work revolves around ESG, environmental rights, ocean governance and environmental courts and tribunals. He has extensive experience in ASEAN and Australia with environmental governance and the environmental rule of law. He was called to the NSW Bar (Australia) in 1991. He is also the co-founder and President of the Asian Research Institute for Environmental Law
