Biography

José Paulo Carvalho is the founder and CEO of Hope Care, a leading provider of mobile health (m-Health) services with international reach. His career reflects a strong commitment to innovation in healthcare and social systems, combining technological expertise with strategic leadership. He previously managed a Portuguese non-profit organization for 10 years, overseeing social integration and telecare programs. He later served as a consultant in Records Management and Information Systems at the Portuguese Catholic University and the Ministry of Finance. Mr. Carvalho was a member of the Social Executive Network of Oeiras City Council, contributing to corporate social responsibility projects. He has implemented and monitored over 75 Quality Management System projects in healthcare and social institutions, and participated in national e-Health initiatives such as AAL4ALL and TICE Healthy. Since 2012, he has led Hope Care in developing remote healthcare solutions, including the innovative Healthlook Project, which enables patient monitoring from home.
