Biography

Margaret O’Gorman is a leading voice in corporate sustainability and biodiversity strategy. As CEO of Tandem Global, she advises Fortune 500 companies on embedding nature, climate resilience, and social impact into core operations. She led the redesign of WHC Certification, driving over 1,000 projects across 28 countries that link ecological restoration to business value. A respected author and speaker, her book Strategic Corporate Conservation Planning is a go-to resource for executives. Margaret serves on BASF’s Nature Advisory Council and the North American Biodiversity and Climate Change Assessment Committee, shaping the private sector’s role in global environmental leadership.
