Biography
Riccardo is the managing partner of Cajola & Associati, a law firm based in Milan founded in 1966.
His practice is focused on cross-border transactional, tax and commercial work, principally in the area of M&A, transactions and JVs.
He advises and represents in Court as well on tax challenges regarding intra-group transfer pricing policies.
Riccardo serves as president of the supervisory board of Epson Italia spa, as member of the supervisory board of Epson Como Printing Technologies srl, as well as statutory auditor of TCR Italia spa.
In addition, he serves as officer of the International Relations Commission of the Milan Bar Association and as vice President of the Italia Singapore Business Council.
He is also Bar Issues Commission officer, BIC Policy Committee vice-Chair and co-Chair of the International Commerce and Distribution Committee at the International Bar Association. As well, he serves as Tax Commission President at the Union Internationale Des Avocats.
During his career, Riccardo represented clients as Ferrero International SA, Seiko Epson Co., Pearson Plc., Panasonic Italia spa, General Electric Osmonics Inc., Patrick Solvay and Saint Gobain Emballage SA.
Riccardo is co-Editor of the UIA Law Journal "The Juriste International", Editor and co-Author of “Guidelines and Regulations on Public Policies to Ensure AI’s Beneficial Use as a Professional Tool”, 2020 Project of the I.B.A., ANLBS Committee; co-Author of the paper published by UNCITRAL: “Implementing the Business and Human Rights Framework: How Could Uncitral Bridge the Gap?”, 2017; author of the Italian Chapter of the International Corporate Law Compendium, published by Wolters Kluwer - Aspen Publishers, (2010 Edition) the Chapter "Business Entities" of ItalyLaw, published by Giappichelli Editore (2010 Edition).
