Panel four - Legal and ethical challenges/dispute resolution

Description
This panel will analyse the most relevant legal and ethical questions that are already on the table regarding Metaverse and the underpinning technologies. This analysis will be made from three different angles, related to each one of the agents involved in these new environments:
- Users - covering elements such as consumer-protection rights; privacy; self-image protection; etc.
- Companies present in the Metaverse - including questions such as IP-protection; advertising; employment; tax; real estate, etc and
- Metaverse-platform operators - covering questions such as contractual models for the renting or sale of virtual spaces; potential liabilities; IP; interoperability and competition law, etc.
- AI challenges
- Crypto assets, micro-transactions, NFTs, DAOs self-regulations
- Jurisdictional challenges and forums for disputes
- Metaverse environments for dispute-resolution, covering both arbitration and ADR systems
