• Exploring how courts and arbitral tribunals are interpreting force majeure (FM) clauses beyond severe economic injury
• Analysing how the Covid-19 pandemic and the current geopolitical climate is impacting the interpretation and enforcement of FM clauses
• Understanding the varying approaches taken by courts across jurisdictions to determine whether unforeseeable events, such as pandemics, geopolitical shifts or cyber-attacks, fall under the FM umbrella
• Assessing the impact of FM clauses on international trade and investment agreements in light of the rapidly changing global and political landscape, including economic sanctions
