The IBA Council is the governing body of the IBA, having the general control of the affairs of the IBA and passing, as required, resolutions and guidelines for members and the legal profession worldwide. Those entitled to attend are the senior leadership of the IBA and Divisions, Honorary Life Members of the Council, appointed representatives from Member Organisations, appointed Deputy Secretary Generals and any co-opted members.
