The IBA European Regional Forum (ERF) recently hosted an exceptional conference in the picturesque setting of Santorini (huge thanks to the hosting law firm – Drakopoulos – for all their dedicated and hard work with this!). This event masterfully combined a series of compelling professional programmes with unique social activities, offering attendees the opportunity to engage deeply with both the legal landscape and the stunning vistas of Santorini’s past and present.

Council members, advisory board members and officers were highly involved in the conference, which featured robust discussions on numerous projects undertaken by the ERF. As an example for the projects, the ERF has different working groups focusing on diverse topics such as environmental, social and governance (ESG) and diversity and inclusion (D&I). In addition to these working groups, the ERF also organises various thematic conferences on sectors such as automotives, fashion and start-ups, exemplifying its comprehensive approach to addressing contemporary issues.

It created an environment where one could work efficiently while enjoying the company of like-minded professionals.
