IBA ICC & ICL Legal Internship Programme (The Hague)
- It is important that you thoroughly research the work of The IBA Hague Office and convey your passion for that specific internship in your application and interview.
- The application process involves sending a CV/resume, cover letter, application form and writing sample (max.5 pages long) to Hague.internprogramme@int-bar.org before the closing date.
- As a large proportion of the work you will undertake during the internship will involve writing reports, letters, or assisting in the preparation of academic articles, we ask for a writing sample as part of the application process, on a topic of your choosing. This is useful for us to see how you structure a piece of written work and how you form and support an argument.
- We aim to inform you if you have been successful and invite you to interview approximately 4 weeks after the closing date.
- Please note that the ICC & ICL Internship Programme is currently offered as a limited remote internship only.
Intake dates and deadlines
- The Hague office currently has intakes for 3-month periods, with the possibility of an extension for another 3 months if proven successful.
- If your application is successful, you will receive an email invitation for an online interview.
- The Hague office only corresponds with shortlisted candidates and within 4 weeks after the closing date.
- Applications for The Hague close 1,5 months prior to the start date.
