Biography

Pavan Dhillon is the founder of Dhillon Immigration Law, a boutique Canadian immigration law firm in Seattle, Washington. With over 17 years of expertise in Canadian immigration, her practice serves U.S.-based corporate clients, including publicly traded companies, regional organizations, and startups, on cross-border immigration issues. She facilitates business expansion into Canada, with a particular emphasis on the establishment of new subsidiaries, infrastructure projects, and strategic mobility for technology companies. Pavan began her career at a leading immigration boutique in Vancouver. Subsequently, she shaped and led the Canadian immigration practice at a US-based global law firm in New York, Boston, and San Francisco for several years before launching her own practice to meet the increasing demand for Canadian immigration legal counsel from the United States. She collaborates closely with in-house legal and human resources teams to devise immigration strategies that enhance workforce planning, business development, and regulatory compliance. Shaped by personal and community experiences with immigration, Pavan brings both passion and insight to her work. Her dedication to practical, creative immigration solutions led her to create a client-focused, tech-enabled practice. Pavan holds an LL.B. and B.C.L. from McGill University and is licensed to practice law in New York and British Columbia; she also serves as a Foreign Legal Consultant in Washington State.
