Biography

Sandra Jardim Fernandes Founder & Managing Partner | SJF Immigration & Investments | Portugal Sandra Jardim Fernandes is a Portuguese lawyer with over 35 years of legal experience, having graduated in Law from Universidade Católica Portuguesa in 1990. She also holds postgraduate qualifications in European Legal Studies and Executive Management from the same university. She is the Founder and Managing Partner of SJF Immigration & Investments, established in 2023, with offices in Lisbon and Madeira. Previously, she served for seven years as Head of the Immigration Department at VCA Law Firm, advising international clients on Portuguese residency, citizenship, and investment migration matters. A Fellow of the Investment Migration Council (IMC) and a member of the International Bar Association (IBA), Sandra has been a speaker at international conferences since 2014, contributing to discussions on immigration policy, investment migration, and international mobility. Her practice focuses on immigration and nationality law, foreign investment, and cross-border legal matters, developing tailored legal strategies for individuals, families, and international investors, with particular attention to regulatory developments, legal certainty, and the evolving relationship between immigration and nationality law.
