Biography

Marial is an accredited specialist lawyer in Sydney Australia and is the founder of Crossover Law Group. She is on the Best Lawyers list for Best Immigration Lawyers in Australia since 2024 to 2027 and her firm is on the Best Law Firms list and won multiple international awards being recognised a leader in Immigration Law. Marial was also listed on the Forbes list for Social Impact, Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch for 2023 and as a Corporate future leader in WWL/Lexology magazine. Marial is also a Teaching Fellow/Visiting Lecturer at one top Univeristies in the world including the Univerity of New South Wales where she lectures Administrative Law, Immigration Law, Criminal Law and Torts. She also won multiple prestigious Australian National Awards including including Lawyers Weekly Migration Lawyer of the year in 2021 and 2022 and was named Australia's Young Migration Lawyer of the Year by the Australian law council in 2020. Marial was also listed as a finalised in multiple Australian national awards from 2019 to 2026 and was recognised in the Australasian Lawyer Rising Stars list and Most Influential Leading Lawyers in Australia in 2023. Crossover law group was named 2026/2027 Immigration Law Firm of the year at Corporate LiveWire Global Awards 2026/27. The firm was also listed as innovative Law firm of the year finalist and Newlaw firm of the year finalist in multiple Australian Awards since its inception. Marial regularly speaks in national and international conferences about the issues of immigration law from an Australian perspective. Marial has a passion for immigration and refugee law especially in relation to innovation and changing the future of how we do law. She works with clients around the world and represented many clients in the Australian tribunals and courts with a focus on character cases and people in detention. She also represents companies in relation to global talent movement and retention along with high net wealth individuals.
