Biography

Valentina Kuscevic is Counsel in Carey’s Labor and Corporate Immigration Group and Co-Head of Carey Visas. She advises local and multinational companies on corporate immigration and labor matters, with a particular focus on international mobility, expatriate processes, and the design and implementation of immigration strategies for inbound and outbound assignments. Her practice combines immigration and employment law, allowing her to provide comprehensive advice on the hiring and relocation of foreign employees, as well as on labor aspects related to cross-border operations, outsourcing, and M&A transactions. She regularly supports clients in navigating regulatory requirements, compliance risks, and complex workforce structures. Valentina holds a law degree and a Degree in Labor and Social Security Law from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, and a Master’s in Labor and Social Security Law from Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez. She has further specialized in immigration law through advanced studies in immigration legislation and the hiring of foreign employees. She is recognized by Chambers and Partners and Legal 500 in Labor & Employment, and is also recognized by Best Lawyers and Leaders League.
