Biography
Lindsay Sykes is the Managing Partner of PPO Indacochea. Her practice focuses on Compliance & Investigations and International Arbitration. Lindsay leads the firm’s Compliance & Investigations practice, which is ranked among the Top 100 investigations practices worldwide by Global Investigations Review (GIR). She is also highly recommended by Latin Lawyer 250, recommended by the Latin American Corporate Counsel Association (LACCA) and recognized by Lexology. She advises multinational companies on complex compliance and risk matters, including internal investigations involving fraud, corruption and corporate misconduct; transactional and third-party due diligence; and corruption risk assessments. In International Arbitration, Lindsay represents clients in high-stakes, complex disputes. She also serves as one of Bolivia’s national delegates to the ICC Commission on Arbitration and ADR, contributing to the ICC’s work on the development of international arbitration and dispute resolution practices. Her disputes practice is recognized by Chambers & Partners and The Legal 500, among other leading publications. Before co-founding PPO, Lindsay practiced at leading international law firms in Washington, D.C., where she advised Fortune 500 companies and global financial institutions on cross-border investigations, regulatory matters and complex disputes involving U.S. authorities. Lindsay also founded and leads the firm’s Pro Bono Program. Under her leadership, PPO received the Pro Bono Outstanding Firm Award at the 2024 Chambers Latin America Awards, recognizing the firm’s commitment to expanding access to legal services and supporting vulnerable communities.
