Biography
Natalia Dias is a seasoned investment banking executive with over 30 years of experience across Brazil, the United States, the United Kingdom, and Africa. She currently serves as Managing Director of Capital Markets for Latin America and the Caribbean at IDB Invest, the private sector arm of the Inter American Development Bank. Alongside her executive role, she serves as a Non executive Director at Iguá Saneamento S.A., Future Climate Ltd., and the Blended Finance Receivables Investment Fund (FIDC) Estímulo, and as Deputy Coordinator of the Investors’ Commission at the Brazilian Institute of Corporate Governance (IBGC). She is also a Senior Fellow at CEBRI and an advisory board member of the Imagine Brasil initiative led by Fundação Dom Cabral.
Previously, Natalia was Director of Capital Markets and Sustainable Finance at BNDES, where she led capital markets, fundraising, international affairs, investor relations, and credit restructuring. She also served as CEO of Standard Bank Brasil and as a member of the Executive Committee of Standard Bank International, in addition to acting as Director of Energy and Infrastructure for Latin America at Standard Bank Group. Earlier in her career, she held senior leadership roles at global financial institutions including JP Morgan, Bank of America Merrill Lynch, ING Bank, and Banif.
Natalia holds a degree in Public Administration from Fundação Getulio Vargas, a specialization in Finance from the Amsterdam Institute of Finance, and board and ESG certifications.
An impact investor and mentor, Natalia advocates for diversity, equity, and inclusion and participates in Fundação Dom Cabral’s CEO’s Legacy initiative. She is also an art collector and avid reader, and enjoys yoga, HIIT, and running.
