Biography

As a Partner at JSA, I advise multinational and domestic companies on mergers & acquisitions, private equity investments, corporate structuring, and general corporate commercial matters - with a particular emphasis on data privacy, regulatory compliance, and white-collar matters, including internal investigations and enforcement defence. Over more than 13 years, I have represented clients across cross-border transactions, foreign direct investments, and outbound investments, advising on the full spectrum of corporate, regulatory, and compliance risks that accompany high-stakes deals - from leading global investment funds backing marquee AI companies such as Anthropic, SpaceX, and Mistral AI, to the Government of India on landmark disinvestment and listing transactions. I also counsel businesses on establishing and managing operations in India, including navigating regulatory investigations, compliance frameworks, and corporate governance mandates. My sector experience spans Technology, Healthcare & Life Sciences, Real Estate, Manufacturing, Hospitality & Retail, and Knowledge-Based Industries. I am an Officer of one of the International Bar Association’s committees and a frequent contributor to IBA publications, the Financial Express, the Economic Times, The Times of India, and Wolters Kluwer journals on topics including cross-border M&A, technology & artificial intelligence, data protection and white collar crimes.
