Biography

Elena is Director of Corporate Development & Sustainability in the Legal Area at Bankinter, where she leads corporate growth initiatives and the bank’s sustainability strategy. She has extensive experience in complex strategic transactions, including M&A, structured and cross-border financing, and ESG integration. Previously, she was Senior Legal Counsel at CaixaBank and worked at leading Spanish law firms. Elena holds a Law degree from the University of Barcelona and postgraduate studies in Financial Advice from the University Pompeu i Fabra. She is also co-leader of the Banking & Finance Committee at Women in a Legal World.
