Biography

Michał Polakowski is a social policy specialist at OPZZ (All-Poland Alliance of Trade Unions), Poland, where he works on topics such as labour market policy, social insurance and migration. He serves as an expert and member in the Committee for Social Insurance and a member of Sub-Committee on Labour Market Policy at the Social Dialogue Council. He developed his expertise in both non-governmental and academic sector. He is the author of several publications on labour market and social policy. Michał received a PhD from Maastricht University, The Netherlands.
