Sofia Guijarro

Biography

Sofía Guijarro (Spain) is an international employment lawyer with over 12 years of in-house experience at the Lidl International’s headquarters in Germany. She holds a Law degree from ESADE and began her career at Cuatrecasas, Gonçalves Pereira, specialising in employment law. She later transitioned in-house, first at Lidl Spain and subsequently at the company’s global headquarters, where she led the International Compensation & Benefits and International Employment Law function for more than five years. Sofía is currently working in Global Mobility, where she is responsible for the employment-legal setup of international assignments, among other strategic topics. Her work focuses on aligning global mobility practices with evolving legal requirements, including the EU Pay Transparency Directive.
