Past Board member of the International Bunker Industry Association. Has represented South Africa at the Comite Maritime International since 2008. Member of the CMI Nominating Committee and the 'Implementation of International Conventions and Promotion of Maritime Conventions' standing committee. Ranked by Chambers Global, Who's Who Legal as a Thought Leader 2025, and listed in the Hall of Fame by The Legal 500 EMEA 2025 guide. Pro bono lawyer for the National Sea Rescue Institute.
