Biography

Jayant K. Mehta is a Senior Advocate designated by the High Court of Delhi, India. He has over 24 years of experience in commercial, civil and constitutional litigation before the Supreme Court of India, various High Courts and other fora and tribunals. He is an alumnus of the National Law School of India University, Bangalore. He has been involved in several landmark cases in arbitration, insolvency law, company law, competition law, taxation, and property law, amongst others. He has appeared as counsel and acted as arbitrator in numerous international and domestic ad hoc and institutional arbitrations. He is also empanelled as an arbitrator with the Delhi International Arbitration Centre. He has been appointed as amicus curiae by the Supreme Court and High Courts in several matters and is also engaged in pro bono work and judicial training.
