Biography

Shumin Lin is a Director in Drew & Napier’s Dispute Resolution Practice, recognised in ALB Asia’s Super 50 Disputes Lawyers 2025, Legal 500, Benchmark Litigation, and Best Lawyers. With 17 years of experience, she has particular expertise in web3 and cryptocurrency disputes, having acted in landmark cases involving decentralized finance, stolen digital assets, and novel legal issues in the blockchain space, including securing Singapore’s first substituted service via NFTs. Her broader practice spans shareholder and company law disputes, tortious actions and regulatory investigations. Shumin has represented clients across a wide range of industries, including technology, retail, shipping, hospitality, and venture capital.
