Biography

Florian leads the German tax practice at A&O Shearman. He has 25 years of experience in providing tax advice to large international companies and financial investors on M&A transactions, reorganizations, financings, structured finance products and fund investments. His expertise in the area of capital markets tax law is also particularly noteworthy. In recent years, he has increasingly participated in internal investigations in the financial sector. He represents leading national and international banks in tax and civil law matters related to current and past equity transactions.
