Biography
Jagriti brings with her a stellar track record of legal leadership across banking, technology, fintech and most recently BPM. In her current role she is the Global General Counsel of Firstsource, overseeing Legal, Compliance and Corporate Secretarial functions globally, supporting a workforce of 35,000+ across 40+ delivery centres (Americas, EMEA, Africa, Asia) and a 200+ client base including 20+ Fortune 500 companies. She has been instrumental in the transformation of the legal and compliance function through organisational restructuring, process standardisation, and AI-enabled initiatives to enhance efficiency, scalability, and governance in a high-growth BPM environment.
Previously she served as General Counsel at PineLabs, where she led the company’s legal, corporate secretarial, and compliance functions guiding complex transactions and strategic initiatives across multiple
jurisdictions. She played a key role in executing the first-ever cross-border reverse merger between Singapore and India - a strategic move that set the stage for Pine Labs’ IPO and all subsequent actions for the penultimate steps to the IPO.
Jagriti is recognized for her strategic legal thinking, innovative problem-solving, and ability to navigate complex regulatory environments. Her ability to lead high- performing legal teams and partner closely with business leaders has enabled her to successfully support transformational growth initiatives and navigate dynamic markets.
Her career also spans senior leadership roles at Thomson Reuters (later Refinitiv), Citibank, and ICICI Bank, where she partnered closely with business leaders to enable growth, navigate regulatory environments, and embed strong governance frameworks.
Throughout her professional journey, Jagriti has been a strong advocate of corporate governance, embedding robust frameworks within the organizations she has served. She is equally committed to diversity and inclusion, having led women’s leadership networks and championed equity initiatives at a global level.
Jagriti is an alumnus of the National Law School, India. Outside of work, Jagriti is an avid traveler with a passion for discovering new cultures - often through her next culinary adventure.
