Biography

Anuja Tiwari is a Senior Partner in the Delhi office and leads the Energy, Infrastructure and Sustainability practice. With nearly 18 years of experience, her expertise includes advising on all aspects of project development and operations. Anuja is a specialist in advising clients on energy (conventional and renewable) and infrastructure projects based on Public Private Partnerships. Her key areas of practice include conventional and renewable energy, mining and natural resources, battery storage, mini and micro grids, e-mobility, environmental attributes and carbon off-set regimes, railways, metros, township projects, hospitality, roads, ports and urban infrastructure such as water and waste management, public street-lighting and healthcare. The scope of work included a due diligence on the company and its operations as well drafting and negotiations of transaction documents and closing assistance. • BlackRock on its acquisition in Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited. USD 650 million in Serentica Renewables, a renewable platform set up by Sterlite Power to offer decarbonization strategies to heavy energy intense industries. • BlackRock on their acquisition of private equity firm, General Infrastructure Partners. • ONGC Videsh Limited on its acquisition of participation interest in an oil field in Azerbaijan, and a stake in a pipeline company owning an oil pipeline passing through Azerbaijan, Türkiye and Georgia.
