Biography

Ryan Kitcat is a Partner in our Corporate Department, and a member of the Mergers & Acquisitions practice, based in our Johannesburg office. Ryan adopts a thoughtful, commercially pragmatic approach to deliver solution-oriented advice and services that are carefully tailored to each client’s objectives and circumstances. Ryan has extensive experience handling complex cross-border transactions, and has advised on a broad mix of high-value public and private transactions across a range of sectors. In particular, he has advised on deals in the energy & natural resources, capital markets, education, hospitality, tourism, insurance, mining, private security, and ICT sectors. His experience extends to advising in contentious or distressed situations. Ryan actively contributes to the Firm’s pro bono and and sustainability initiatives, and regularly contributes to thought leadership publications and conferences.
