Rosemary Owusu
Biography
Rosemary Owusu is a Partner at Lem&Co with extensive expertise in corporate and commercial transactions, including joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, intellectual property rights, due diligence, mediation, litigation, and international taxation across the UK, Europe, and West and Central Africa. She has advised on significant projects such as the closing of a major financial transaction between a French bank and a construction company in Ghana, the Millennium Development Authority’s Ghana Power Compact (privatisation of the Electricity Company of Ghana), and the Ministry of Trade and Industry’s World Bank project. Her sector experience spans oil and gas, banking, employment, construction, IT, agro-processing, fintech, private equity, FMCG, and manufacturing. Before joining Lem&Co, Rosemary worked with GFA Consulting Ltd, providing legal and tax advisory services, and Sam Okudzeto & Associates, where she supported clients with litigation. She also served as an Adjudicator at the UK Financial Ombudsman Service, resolving disputes between financial service providers and consumers. Rosemary was admitted to the Ghana Bar in 2015 and is a member of the Ghana Bar Association, Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (UK), and the Law Society of England and Wales. She holds a Qualifying Law Certificate from the Ghana School of Law, a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the University of Law (England), and an LLB from the University of Surrey (England).
