Biography
Andrea Huber is a Partner at Pestalozzi and recognized as one of Switzerland’s leading financial services regulatory lawyers. With more than 20 years of experience, she advises financial institutions on complex and strategically significant regulatory matters, both contentious and non-contentious. Her practice covers the full spectrum of banking and financial services regulation, with particular expertise in asset management and investment funds, fintech and digital assets, anti-money laundering, governance, market conduct and regulatory investigations and enforcement. Andrea advises leading Swiss and international banks, securities firms, asset managers, insurers, financial market infrastructures and fintech companies on regulatory matters, cross-border transactions and innovative financial products and business models. She regularly represents clients before FINMA, SIX Swiss Exchange and other Swiss supervisory authorities, including in licensing and enforcement proceedings and regulatory investigations. Andrea also has a distinguished contentious and expert practice. She is regularly engaged as an expert on Swiss law in major domestic and international litigation and arbitration proceedings, providing independent expert opinions to Swiss and foreign courts, authorities and arbitral tribunals on complex questions of Swiss financial market and regulatory law. She is an Authorized Representative of Issuers at the SIX Swiss Exchange and serves as Co-Chair of the IBA Banking Regulation Sub-Committee.
