Anne Merminod

Biography

Anne Merminod is a leading Canadian litigator whose practice is devoted to the defence of class actions and complex commercial disputes. With 16 years of experience, she advises and represents domestic and international clients across a broad range of industries, developing strategic solutions to some of the most significant and high-profile class proceedings in Canada. Anne has extensive experience defending product liability, pharmaceutical and medical device, privacy, consumer protection and other complex class actions, frequently in the context of multijurisdictional and cross-border litigation. She regularly appears before courts at all levels and is recognized for her practical, results-oriented approach to class action strategy and risk management. She serves as Senior Vice Chair of the International Bar Association's Class Actions. A frequent speaker and author, Anne regularly presents and writes on developments in class actions law and procedure in Canada and internationally.
