Biography

Sucharita has over 26 years of experience in corporate commercial, infrastructure, real estate, banking & finance and trust laws. She also has expertise in government advisory and policy. She advises a wide range of Indian and multinational clients in various sectors. Prior to AQUILAW, Sucharita was engaged as an Associate Partner with Khaitan & Co. She represents AQUILAW as an elected member of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) - National Council & Eastern Region Council for the year 2026-27. She was the erstwhile Chairperson of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) West Bengal State Council for the year 2023-24. She is an Independent Director on the Boards of Himadri Credit & Finance Limited, Ramkrishna Forgings Limited and Lalbaba Engineering. She completed her LL.B. from University of Calcutta. She is a member of the International Bar Association – India Working Group. She is presently pursuing Owner/President Management (OPM) program at Harvard Business School.
