Biography

Diamana Diawara is a partner at Talex International with 15 years of experience in international litigation and arbitration, including over a decade at the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) facilitating the resolution of complex disputes between parties from the Middle East, Africa, and French-speaking Europe. Diamana is a lawyer admitted to the Paris Bar and an arbitrator trained both in civil law and common law. Her expertise particularly stands out in disputes involving state parties in Africa. With an in-depth knowledge of international investments across the region, Diamana Diawara excels in managing disputes arising from these investments and sits as an arbitrator in commercial and investment cases under various institutional rules as well as ad hoc arbitrations. She holds leading roles in several professional organizations - she is a member of the board of the francophone arbitration association FRANCARBI, a member of AFSA International Court and a past President of Paris Arbitration Week (2025 and 2026 editions).
