Biography

Jørgen Bek Weiss Hansen is an attorney and partner at Lassen Ricard with extensive experience at the intersection of technology, innovation and commercial law. He advises technology and growth companies on financing, transactions, corporate law, intellectual property rights and commercial contracts. His practice focuses on legal issues in technology-driven industries, including AI, medtech, biotech and nanotech. He combines hands-on legal advice with a strong commitment to the start-up ecosystem and has been an external lecturer at the University of Copenhagen, teaching on subjects including Artificial Intelligence & Legal Disruption and Entrepreneurs' Legal Challenges. Internationally, Jørgen represents the Danish Bar and Law Society in CCBE committees on IT law and on the future of the legal profession and legal services. He contributes actively to the debate on how technology and AI can be supported by responsible regulation that safeguards both legal certainty and business innovation.
