Biography

Philipp Thurner is the Founder and CEO of Nexl, the growth system for law firms. A former innovation leader at top Australian firm Gilbert + Tobin, Phil saw firsthand the gaps between marketing, business development, and practicing lawyers - and set out to close them. At Nexl, Phil leads the vision to transform how firms grow, turning BD strategy into daily action and making growth a firmwide discipline, not just a rainmaker sport. Under his leadership, Nexl has raised over $40 million in funding, built global hubs in Chicago, London, and Sydney, and partnered with leading firms including Day Pitney, Fasken, and Winston Taylor. Deeply hands-on in product, Phil has built Nexl to be a complete growth system that combines tools, frameworks, and strategies to teach firms how to grow their business.
