Biography

Sarah B. Morgan is the Director of Quality and Regulatory at Fertio and serves as Data Protection Officer for four European tissue establishments within the fertility sector, including European Sperm Bank and Berliner Samenbank. She holds a master’s degree in biochemistry from the University of Copenhagen and is CIPM certified through the International Association of Privacy Professionals. Her background includes public outreach and teaching, before moving into quality management, regulatory compliance, and data protection within reproductive medicine. Sarah’s work focuses on the practical intersection between science and regulation, particularly issues arising from genetic testing, donor screening, international distribution of genetic material, consent frameworks, and long term storage and use of reproductive material.
