Biography

Ken Nam is a foreign attorney at Kim & Chang. He practices primarily in cross-border merger and acquisition transactions, joint ventures, project financing and inbound and outbound investment, with a focus on energy (including renewables), resources and infrastructure. Mr. Nam has extensive experience advising both international and Korean corporate clients in the structuring, documentation, negotiation and implementation of complex cross-border transactions and projects across a number of jurisdictions. Prior to joining Kim & Chang, Mr. Nam worked in the Seoul and Sydney offices of Herbert Smith Freehills for 17 years. He has also completed secondments in the in-house legal teams of two leading Australian energy companies. Mr. Nam has been recognized by international legal directories such as Chambers Asia Pacific and Legal 500. Mr. Nam received an LL.B. from the University of Sydney in 2006. He is admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of New South Wales, Australia.
