Dyalá Jimenez

Biography

Dyalá Jiménez is based in Costa Rica and is frequently appointed as arbitrator in international contract-based and treaty-based disputes, both under institutional rules and ad hoc procedures. Dyalá is Vice President of the International Council for Commercial Arbitration (ICCA) Governing Board. She is a member of the ICSID panel of conciliators and arbitrators for Costa Rica and sits on the International Council of Arbitration for Sport (ICAS). Dyalá is also the correspondent for Costa Rica of the International Institute for the Unification of Private Law (UNIDROIT). She was Minister of Foreign Trade of Costa Rica (2018-2022). Dyalá is also a trained mediator by ICSID/CEDR and by the Singapore International Mediation Center, where she forms part of the Specialist Mediators Panel.
