Biography

Manuel Lorenzo is a Senior Vice President and Associate General Counsel of Neuberger Berman supporting the alternative investments group. Prior to joining Neuberger Berman in 2019, he was an associate at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP in the investment funds practice group. He focused on counseling sponsors on the organization and operation of private equity funds including fund-of-funds, buy-out, co-investment, secondary, and real estate funds. He earned his JD in 2014 from Columbia Law School, where he was named a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar for the 2013-2014 academic year and served as a Special Features Editor on the Columbia Journal of Race and Law. He received his BA degree in Government from Cornell University in 2011.
