Biography

Chris joined Vitruvian Partners in 2018 as General Counsel. In 2019, he was also appointed as Vitruvian’s Chief Risk Officer and Money Laundering Reporting Officer (UK Senior Manager Function 17), as well as assuming responsibility for Compliance Oversight (UK Senior Manager Function 16). Chris is also a Director of various Vitruvian entities and from 2022 to 2024 served as a Board Observer of Snow Software Inc. Chris is currently a member of the BVCA Legal Committee and Pensions & Private Capital Technical Expert Group and was previously a member of Invest Europe’s Financial Services / Regulatory Working Group. Prior to Vitruvian, Chris was an Executive Director and Senior Counsel at Goldman Sachs, where he supported the Merchant Banking Division, the Principal Strategic Investments Division and various Firmwide Investments. Prior to Goldman Sachs, Chris was at Slaughter and May for nine years, where he specialised in public and private M&A.
