Biography

Michael Sabin is a Partner and Co-Head of the U.S. Funds & Investment Management Group at Clifford Chance. Michael specializes in advising sponsors on the structuring and formation of private funds and accounts across strategies, including buyout, real estate, energy, infrastructure and credit, as well as related transformational transactions and internal arrangements. He also advises sponsors and investors in connection with complex GP-led secondary transactions and spinouts. Michael earned an LLB in Law, magna cum laude, from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and an LLM from Harvard Law School. Michael is fluent in English, Hebrew and Russian and has served in Givati Brigade, Israel Defense Forces. He is ranked as a top private equity fund formation lawyer in Chambers Global and Chambers USA, as a recommended lawyer in The Legal 500 U.S. and as Highly Regarded in IFLR1000 U.S.
