Adam Hahn

Biography

Adam is a Managing Director and Deputy General Counsel - US at Oak Hill Advisors, L.P., a leading alternative investment firm with $71 billion under management as of September 30, 2024 across performing and distressed credit-related investments in North America, Europe and other geographies. Adam serves on the firm's Compliance Committee and as Co-Chair of the firm's New Product and Business Activity Committee. Adam brings over 16 years of experience advising on private and public alternative investment funds, including the formation and operation thereof, as well as bringing to market a variety of credit funds, hedge funds and co-investment funds across distressed, direct lending, opportunistic, leveraged loan and multi-asset credit strategies, in commingled, fund-of-one and separately managed account formats, as well as retail alternative products including business development companies (BDCs) and interval funds. In addition, Adam has extensive experience focusing on product development and structuring from a legal, regulatory, tax and commercial perspective, as well as a strong track record of building relationships with U.S. and non-U.S. investors and their counsel, including sovereign wealth funds, public and private pensions, wealth management channels, family offices and others, by leveraging deep experience negotiating and problem solving from the perspective of both a sponsor and institutional investor. Prior to joining OHA, Mr. Hahn worked as a Director and Senior Investment Structuring Officer for UBS Hedge Fund Solutions LLC, where he focused on investment structuring and investor-related advocacy. Prior to UBS, Mr. Hahn worked as Associate General Counsel for Millennium Management LLC, where he focused on product development, global marketing and investor relations-related matters. He began his career as an Associate in the Investment Management (Private Funds) Group at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP.
