Biography

Kerill O'Shaughnessy is a partner at A&L Goodbody LLP based in Dublin, Ireland. He specialises in the area of Funds & Asset Management and acts for funds, promoters and service providers to private and public funds. Kerill advises on Private Equity, Credit, Direct Lending, Venture Capital and Hedge alternative funds, establishing AIFMs and fund-raising using a range of vehicles and structures including limited partnerships (ILPs, 1907 LPs), ICAVs, PLCs, Unit trusts and CCFs. He also advises asset managers on public funds investing across the full spectrum of strategies from traditional long-only to alternative and structured UCITS, active and passive ETFs and money market funds. Kerill advises a number of fund service providers operating in the Irish market including third party management companies, fund administrators and depositaries, and has advised on a number of significant recent M&A transactions in the asset management sector in Ireland. Kerill is a member of the IBA's Asset Management and Investment Funds Committee.
