Biography

Suhail is widely recognized as a leading lawyer in India. His work is across M&A, regulatory, securities law, trade and competition laws. He co-founded Economic Laws Practice which today is recognized as one of India’s pre-eminent law firms. Today the firm has eight offices spread throughout India. Suhail is an accomplished corporate lawyer, specializing in advising companies on intricate corporate transactions, governance issues, and regulatory compliance. He specializes in mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, private equity investments, and corporate governance. Suhail has successfully represented India in WTO disputes before the Panel and Appellate Body in Geneva and has been counsel to the Competition Commission of India (CCI), and Securities Exchange Board of India (SEBI). Suhail earned his Law Degree at Cambridge University, England and has also received an LL.M. from Duke University, USA.
