Alain Grieder

Biography

Dr. Alain Grieder is dual-qualified in Switzerland and New York State and is a registered foreign lawyer in Singapore. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (FCIArb) and has obtained an LL.M. from New York University School of Law (NYU). He is a Senior Associate in the International Arbitration and Dispute Resolution Practice Groups of Schellenberg Wittmer in Singapore. His main areas of practice are international arbitration and commercial litigation. Alain acts as counsel and arbitrator in arbitral proceedings and supports parties in litigation proceedings before Swiss courts. He has particular experience in cross-border matters and regarding disputes in the manufacturing, trade, insurance and sports industry.
