Matthew Gingell

Biography

Matthew Gingell is the General Counsel of Oxygen House Group and the founder of the Chancery Lane Project. He is widely recognised as an innovator who is helping shape the legal profession as a force for good. Speaking regularly on ESG and sustainability matters, he founded The Chancery Lane Project in 2019. He has been embedding ESG objectives into investments since 2014 and is an ESG Advisor to the QantX impact fund. Matt is an External Associate of Exeter University’s Centre for Environmental Law and a Fellow of the Institute of Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability. He also represents in house corporate lawyers on the main Council for the Law Society of England and Wales and sits on their Climate Change Working Group.
