Biography
Diana Nabuuso is the Managing Partner of Renaissance Advocates, a firm located in Kampala, Uganda. Diana possesses over 21 years’ experience in multi-jurisdictional commercial transactions cutting across international real estate transactions corporate M&A, Private Equity, Energy, Mining and Natural Resources, Projects & Infrastructure, and general corporate commercial, regulatory and investment advisory. She holds a Diploma in Legal Practice from Law Development Centre, Uganda and LLB from Makerere University. Diana has provided legal and commercial advice on multi-million dollar transactions in the areas of real estate, represented international banks in cut-throat transactions, handled mining and energy deals on behalf of Investors among others She also routinely handles legal due diligences, advises on corporate transactional structuring, negotiates local and cross border transactional agreements, commercial operational agreements. Diana is well equipped with knowledge of the local regulatory framework and has advised corporations on several regulatory and licensing frameworks, and issues affecting local and foreign investors.
